As a result of this unique exposure you will gain valuable knowledge not only of your specific area of interest, but of the global and domestic aviation industry and the diversity of opportunities Qantas has to offer.
The Graduate Program recruits and provides rotations in the following streams:
Corporate
Multi-disciplinary business fields such as Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Pricing and Yield, encompassing aircraft operations, network, strategy, e-commerce and logistics management.
Information Technology
Business systems and Project Management background encompassing managed services, architecture and planning.
Human Resources
HRM background encompassing business HR support, organisational development, shared services (training, recruitment, remuneration) and corporate policy.
Finance
Finance and accounting background encompassing financial and management accounting, treasury, performance planning and reporting, and taxation.
Engineering
Technical support, new product development and business planning in the areas of structures, avionics, systems, cabin, powerplants and maintenance and repair.
Engineering Finance
Finance and accounting background offering experience in Financial Modelling, Business Analysis, Finance Architecture, Project Management Processes, Financial and Management Reporting, as well as Analytical Reporting in a number of major business areas (Aircraft Customer Service, Heavy Maintenance Services, Supply Chain, Finance and Strategy, Technical Services and Associated Businesses).
Internal Audit
Audit background incorporating audits of business processes, governance structures, strategies and projects across the business.
Risk Management
A multi-disciplined background encompassing maintaining and improving Qantas' system of risk management across the Group and providing support and advice on strategic, operational and financial risk management.
As part of the program you will have the support of a Manager who will coordinate your placements throughout the various business units in consultation with our business leaders. We’ll work to help align your interests and skills with the business opportunities available in the Qantas Group to help set you on the best possible career path.
