Engineering and Maintenance Apprenticeships
The Engineering division of Qantas offers a variety of exciting indentured aircraft maintenance apprenticeships. We are able to offer you the opportunity to train and gain experience in a world class organisation and become an efficient and reliable tradesperson.
We offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities at our major facilities including the Mascot Jet Base in Sydney, our Maintenance Facilities at Brisbane Airport and our Tullamarine Jet Base in Melbourne. Our other QantasLink locations often offer opportunities and we’ll advertise for these positions in local newspapers.
As an apprentice you would be employed under a Contract of Training with your relevant State Authority as you begin a career in the dynamic aviation industry.
Once your comprehensive training and apprenticeship is complete you’ll have the opportunity to choose from a number of options to expand your career horizons and work in the fields that interest you most. These include:
- Training to become a Licensed Maintenance Aircraft Engineer (LAME)
- Join our team of Professional Engineers through our Graduate Trainee Program
- Ascend through the ranks to become a Maintenance Supervisor
- Become part of the Management Team in Qantas Training’s Engineering Technical Operations and Maintenance Division
