Every Qantas passenger steps on board our aircraft with the knowledge and reassurance that our pilots and their flight crews have the skills, training and commitment to make their journey safely and smoothly. Our pilots are selected for their experience, talent and ability to handle any situation.
As we continue to expand our national and international operations, Qantas is seeking applications from suitably qualified pilots. As a direct entry pilot with the necessary qualifications and flying hours you could progress to First Officer in one of our operations including Qantas Domestic, Qantas International, QantasLink and Jetstar.
In addition, the 2008 Qantas Cadet Pilot Program is in place to provide would-be commercial pilots with the opportunity to apply their high levels of skill and dedication This Program includes a new range of options including the opportunity to gain academic qualifications tailored to suit the individual skill sets and varying needs of the potential cadets.
Our Qantas pilots are rewarded for their skills and application through active career progression backed by excellent training, facilities and ongoing support.
