Career Transition
This page is for employees whose positions have been made redundant and who subsequently wish to put themselves forward for redeployment in another role within the Qantas Group.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible for redeployment please check with your People representative before following the instructions below.
What do you need to do to?
- The first thing you need to do is apply for redeployment.
- You will need to enter your Taleo user name and password to access your profile. For help with this, please see Accessing your Profile (link) information. Once logged in you will be asked some questions about your job preferences and asked to attach an updated resume. For resume writing tips, please see the Career Transition Workbook.
- Under ‘Job Posting Notification’, ensure you select to receive email alerts for upcoming vacancies.
- Once you have applied for redeployment you will receive an email with instructions on searching and applying for current vacancies, or see Search for Jobs information.
- Ensure you monitor your email regularly for job alerts.
If you have already applied for redeployment, please Search for Jobs and ensure you keep your profile up to date.
